Rapidly Growing Software Company Fueled by Culture of Innovation

BOISE, ID – October 3, 2012 - Clearwater Analytics was named Idaho’s Innovative Company of the Year at this year’s Idaho Innovation Awards, presented by Stoel Rives, LLP, Kickstand and the Idaho Technology Council at the Boise Centre in downtown Boise.

“We’re honored to have been selected for this award,” said James Price, Director of Development. “Idaho—and Boise in particular—has developed into a thriving technology community and we’re thrilled to have been singled out for this achievement. To me, it’s our people that make us innovative. It’s about building teams of really talented people who can work well together, who continually overcome obstacles and face challenges with optimism. It’s about engaging in a respectful debate of all the ideas, finding the right solution, and then giving people room to execute on those solutions in creative ways.”

The awards program is in its seventh year. This is the first year that Clearwater has been nominated for the Idaho Innovation Awards. The award recognizes companies that are innovative through its management style, product line, or service approach. Clearwater’s software-as-a-service solution dramatically improves how corporations and insurers account for and report on their investment portfolios.

“Innovation is an important part of the Clearwater culture,” said Clearwater CEO Dave Boren. “We hire bright, capable, motivated employees and give them opportunities to be creative and take the initiative to solve interesting and important problems. We are always trying to improve our products and services and it is important to us to create an environment where employees can develop their talents and abilities so they can handle even more interesting challenges in the future.”
