Clearwater Hires Matt Clay to Focus on Commingled Funds


BOISE, ID — May 01, 2009 — Clearwater Analytics, a recognized leader in daily, web-based investment portfolio reporting and analytics has recently hired Matt Clay to lead its ongoing efforts to provide innovative reporting and analytics solutions for commingled fund investors and managers.

Clay has 15 years of experience in the investment industry and, prior to joining Clearwater, was with Russell Investments for 11 years as a portfolio manager, investment strategist and most recently as the Head of Short-Term Investments for business growth and development. While there, Clay helped grow total short-term assets under management 36% to $21 billion from ’07 to ’08 and helped grow Russell’s Money Market Fund nearly 68% to $8.9 billion. Clay will be reaching out initially to both investors and managers in money market funds and security lending pools.
